| Follow Up The plane was trucked back to Santa Paula, Ca. from Reno, Nv. The engine mount was manifluxed, the structure inspected and new engine installed. The airplane continues to fly today and race at Reno with no additional repairs from this incident. We build them strong! Lancair 409L won the Sport Class Gold Race at Reno in 1997 and 1998 with Dave Morss at the stick. |
